Hi, i would lije to specify that i just started busniess school after finishing law school so i only have a very basic knowledge of accounting. Before the start of the actual International accounting course we are to study the accounting book and take an exam in about 10 days. I am now on the financial statement chapter (relating to worksheets). What i dont understand is why should you insert the value of land (under Property, land, equipment filed) in the credit column while buildings, structures, machinery, vehicles etc. under the debit column. Can anyone explain it in a not too technical terminology? I thank you in advance for all of your help.
