After a tough few hours of cranking out word processing docs or touching up photos, some PC users would rather unwind with a game than a movie.

One choice that's particularly awesome is Dishonored, a single player-only game that takes place in the industrial, steampunk city of Dunwall where the citizens appear to have a bizarre obsession with whales: nearly everything is powered by whale oil, people eat whale meat, etc. But more importantly, you play as Corvo Attano, the bodyguard of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin and her daughter, Emily. Unfortunately, Dunwall is in dire straits as a result of a horrific rat plague.

The sum of Dishonored's parts is what makes it unique. Everything that's done here, we've seen before: first-person stealth, ranged and melee combat, a steampunk world, a spreading plague, and magical powers. But it's safe to say that we've never seen a game which combines all of these elements into a single experience..and mostly seamlessly, at that.

List-priced at $59.99, the game is available for Windows PCs and PS3 and XBox 360 game machines.

A dishonored credit card occurs when the card issuer back charges the accepting merchant for the credit issued on the account. The credit card issuer authorized the payment but, for various reasons, determines later that the transaction was invalid.

A good business strives to collect for each product or service that it bills for and to pay each bill that they incur. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. If a customer has a dispute over services or products that you provided, he may refuse to pay the bill, or dishonor the invoice.

A dishonored check is another term for a returned check or a check with non-sufficient funds. Many people also refer to a dishonored check as a "bounced" check or simply a "bad" check.

They are not IOUs, which are informal promises to pay a debt. The maker of a promissory note sometimes fails to pay the note. Then the note is designated as dishonored, and the debtor can no longer negotiate over the note receivable.

Writing a dishonored check, also known as a bounced check, in California can be an embarrassing event, especially if the writer was unaware that he had insufficient funds. While the writer will have an opportunity to amend the incident, fines will be attached.

Banking has become far easier due to the Internet and many people now prefer direct debits. However, some people still need to write checks, knowing they will be honored.

Writing a check these days does not seem as necessary as it used to be, with the onset of electronic transfers. Banking has become far easier due to the Internet and many people now prefer direct debits
